permission or Registration or a certificate providing an authority to do business activities or to establish any kind of shop, hotel or any commercial business in the state of Maharashtra.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Gumasta license is governed by the Municipal <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Corporation<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> of Mumbai under Mumbai <a href=\"https:\/\/aktassociates.com\/blog\/shop-and-establishment-act\/\">shops and establishment act<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Cost_to_obtain_Gumasta_License\"><\/span><b>Cost to obtain Gumasta License<\/b><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Its vary upon Trade or Profession to profession, it is almost Rs 3000 and depends upon the nature of Trade.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Required_Documents_and_Information\"><\/span><b>Required Documents and Information<\/b><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To get registered under shops and establishment act, one must require the following documents and information stated below<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Name of the Employer or Entrepreneur or owner of the shop or establishment.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Identity proof of the employer or owner or entrepreneurs such as Aadhaar card, voter id, pan card or any such identity proof valid under shops and establishment act.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Address proof of the employer or owner or entrepreneurs such as Aadhaar card, voter id, or any such address proof valid under shops and establishment act<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Proof of ownership of shop and establishment such as electricity bill, municipal tax, property tax, rental agreement, or any other proof valid under shops and establishment act.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Application form (Form \u2013A), which is required to be filled for registration.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Name of the Shop or business Establishment<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Type of Business Activity carried on the proposed shop or Business Establishment<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Address proof of the Shop or business Establishment<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Recent Photo Copies of the Entrepreneur or owner of the Shop or Business Establishment<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">And Few other Information and Documents as required necessary for the registration under shop and establishment act.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Registration_under_the_Shops_and_Establishment_Act\"><\/span><b>Registration under the Shops and Establishment Act<\/b><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Registration under Shops and Establishment Act shall be done by both offline and online methods<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Offline_procedure_for_Registration\"><\/span><strong>Offline procedure for Registration<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The required application form has to be filled in the provided format and the same has to be submitted to the respective inspector of the area or zone or place.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The application form has to be accompanied by the required documents which have been specified above.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Submit the Documents to the shop license department of the municipal corporation along with the applicable fees.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After successful submission and duly verified by the respective authority or officer, they provide a registration certificate to the employer.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Online_Procedure_for_Registration\"><\/span><strong>Online Procedure for Corporation of Greater Mumbai<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Fill the form under shops and establishment act and the same shall be submitted to the concerned department<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On submission, a challan a number shall be generated and to get the UTN number the required fees shall be paid.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Form should be printed and submitted to the Shop License Dept. of Municipal Corporation accompanying all the required documents;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After verifying the documents and information provided by the concerned officer or authority, <a href=\"https:\/\/aktassociates.com\/blog\/shop-and-establishment-act\/\">Shop Licence<\/a> will be provided.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If required the concerned officer shall visit the shop and establishment provided in the application.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Note:<\/strong> the application should be submitted to the concerned authority or area inspector within 30days from the date of starting a business.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><a
