new system .upo<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><b>Paperless- <\/b>Fully Electronic Communication of <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">notice, response &amp; order<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><b>Minimized Jurisdiction:-<\/b>\u00a0It means that Assessment will be selected on the basis of System Based Selection. Basically it is a Team-based Assessment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Notice_receiving_manner\"><\/span><b>Notice receiving manner:-<\/b><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Through the<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">web portal\u00a0<\/span><b>www.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, One has to login upon getting the notification on the Sms with the Registered Mobile Number.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Thereafter it will be prepared by the <a href=\"https:\/\/aktassociates.com\/blog\/reasons-why-taxpayers-get-income-tax-notice\/\">Taxpayer<\/a> and send accordingly to the <\/span>National e-Assessment Centre <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">by uploading the same on the above-mentioned portal.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_drawback_of_Existing_Manual_Assessment\"><\/span><b>The drawback of Existing Manual Assessment:-<\/b><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>In the Manual Assessment, there has been a debatable issue with respect to notice\u2019s Issuance and Service.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">So in the New system,<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> With the introduction of the e-Assessment scheme Manual System Drawback has been eliminated.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Meaning_of_Delivery_of_electronic_record_in_the_E-assessment_Scheme_2019\"><\/span><b>Meaning of Delivery of electronic record in the E-assessment Scheme, 2019:-<\/b><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>It means that in this below-mentioned manner, E-Assessment notice can proceed to deliver the Assessee that are:-<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Authenticated copy in the Registered Account of the Assessee.<\/span><\/b><\/li>\n<li><b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Authenticated copy to the \u00a0<\/span><\/b>registered email address of the Taxpayer<\/li>\n<li>Mobile App, upon this also <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Authenticated copy can also be sent.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Exchange_of_communication_manner\"><\/span><b>Exchange of communication manner:-<\/b><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Electronic mode; through which all communication between National e-assessment Centre and the assessee, shall be made\u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/li>\n<li><b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">All internal communications as well will be made through also Electronic Mode.<\/span><\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Response_to_Notice_issued_in_Time_Frame\"><\/span><b>Response to Notice issued in Time Frame:-<\/b><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Within fifteen days from the date of receipt of the notice, Assessee has to <a href=\"https:\/\/aktassociates.com\/blog\/how-to-respond-defective-notice\/\">respond to the notice<\/a> under the relevant it has been issued<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Note:-<\/b> It is mandatory to the assessee to reply the Notice within fifteen days from the date of receipt of notice<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/aktassociates.com\/business-compliance\/tax-compliance\/tax-notice-reply\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2856\" src=\"https:\/\/aktassociates.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/Untitled.png\" alt=\"How To Reply To Income Tax Notice\" width=\"699\" height=\"152\" srcset=\"https:\/\/aktassociates.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/Untitled.png 699w, https:\/\/aktassociates.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/Untitled-300x65.png 300w, https:\/\/aktassociates.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/Untitled-20x4.png 20w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 699px) 100vw, 699px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"New_challenges_under_the_New_Assessment_Scheme\"><\/span><b>New challenges under the New Assessment Scheme:-<\/b><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A registered account on e-filing Portal<\/span><b>, <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">keeping track of it requires the assessee to mandatorily update his account on Portal on a frequent basis.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Timeline of 15 days, within which the Assessee has to <a href=\"https:\/\/aktassociates.com\/blog\/income-tax-demand-notice\/\">Reply Notice<\/a>, otherwise it will be lead to Penal consequence upon Non-responding.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Assessee\u2019s attitude of maintaining and Registering the account on the portal of the Income Tax Department\u2019s website may be liberal. It may be the case where assessee can take this in a light manner as it also has a purpose of Issuance and response of such notice.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Updating and<a href=\"https:\/\/aktassociates.com\/blog\/income-tax-return-filing\/\"> filing of Returns<\/a> in India are maintained by the Tax Professional. So for the Taxpayer, it may be the cumbersome process to align with the updation of it.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Conclusion\"><\/span><b>Conclusion:-<\/b><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Service of electronic record through the E-assessment\u00a0 Government portal may lead the system to easily work but it cannot be concluded that Assessee will be frequently informed by such notices or any other further communication of it. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">So some Improvements must be done
