Board Resolution for Registration under the Goods and Services Tax-Act

To obtain the GST Registration a Board Resolution has to be passed by the Board of Directors of the Company authorizing a person to sign, execute and submit such applications and other requisite documents in connection with the GST registration.

“RESOLVED THAT the Board does hereby by decided to appoint Mr/Ms. (Name of the Person),(DIN:XXXX), as Authorised Signatory for enrolment/registration of the Company under Goods and Services Tax Act,2017 and is hereby authorized to sign and submit all necessary documents, papers, forms, etc.., electronically and/or physically in connection with the aforesaid registration and to make applications, communications, representations, amendments, modifications or alterations on behalf of the Company before the Central Goods and Services Tax authorities and/or the concerned State Goods and Services Tax authorities as and when required.” 

RESOLVED FURTHER THAT Mr/Ms. (Name of the Person),(DIN:XXXX), Director of the company be and is hereby authorized to represent the Company and to take necessary actions in connection with issues related to Goods and Services tax including but not limited to presenting documents/forms/records etc., on behalf of the Company liaising /representing for registration of the Company under Goods and Services Tax Act and also to make any alterations or modifications, additions or amendments, corrections, to the documents, papers, forms, etc., filed with the tax authorities as and when required. 

RESOLVED FURTHER THAT Mr/Ms. (Name of the Person),(DIN:XXXX), Director of the company be and is hereby authorized on behalf of the company to sign the documents, letters, returns,  forms, correspondence, etc. and to represent on behalf of the company, for assessments, appeals, review proceedings or otherwise before the concerned goods and service tax authorities as and when required.
